Our aquadrip® starter set contains everything you need to get started. It is easy to install and expandable - so the drip irrigation system can be designed individually according to your needs. The aquadrip® drip hose can also be ordered for your individual project in lengths of 100 m and 400 m.
Compared to conventional systems, aquadrip® can do more:
due to a pressure compensation mechanism inside the hose, the water discharge rate remains the same even with varying water pressure and thus ensures uniform watering of the plant rows. In addition, the technology offers protection against dirt entering the nozzles, which allows aquadrip® to be installed both above and below ground. Moreover, the starter set includes a drip hose with an extra length of 60 m in total!

The aquadrip® tree watering bag gets your plants through rainless days.
Simply place the watering bag around the tree or shrub, zipp it closed, fill it with water and the watering bag will drip water evenly throughout the day directly to the roots of the plant. Through small drip holes at the bottom of the aquadrip® tree watering bag, the water drips continuously over a period of up to 9 hours. That ensures irrigation reaching deep into the earth. This not only saves water, but also protects young trees and shrubs from dryness and waterlogging.

Drip irrigation systems are best suited for the most effective watering of plants. Our aquadrip® starter set contains everything you need for your first irrigation system. It is easy to install and expandable, making aquadrip a master of any project.
What is drip irrigation?
Drip irrigation describes a type of watering in which small amounts of water are continuously discharged at regular intervals via a drip hose. This allows a large amount of plants to be watered simultaneously with a small amount of time and water.
Why drip irrigation?
Drip irrigation is one of the best irrigation methods, which is why many plant nurseries and florists have been using such systems for a long time already. It saves time for watering many plants and a lot of water as a drip hose distributes the water more effectively. Thus, a drip irrigation system also saves you money.
aquadrip® is quick and easy to install, making it ideal for hobby gardeners as well.
The golden rules of watering:
- If possible, only water the soil, not the leaves.
aquadrip® delivers the water where it is needed for the plant: at the root. This saves water, which often already evaporates on the leaves. At the same time this protects the leaves from burns due to the light bundling in water drops. - Watering should be intense and deep into the soil.
Through drip irrigation, water constantly drips onto the soil and deeply moistens it. To achieve an optimal result, it makes sense to switch on the system less frequently (every 2-3 days), but to run it for 45 minutes to 2 hours. - To prevent evaporation, mulched or covered ground is advisable.
The drip nozzles from aquadrip® are specially equipped with a self-cleaning mechanism so that water runs out, but no dirt can clog the openings. This means that the system can also be easily installed under soil, mulch, leaves and fleece. - The best time to water plants is the early morning hours.
The aquadrip® system from Zill can also be extended with a computer, with which the watering times can be conveniently pre-programmed, so you don’t have to get up during the early morning hours to water your plants. - The soil around the plants should be kept evenly moist.
The distances between the water nozzles on the hose are precisely adjusted to about every 30cm and thus ensure an even watering, so that no dry surfaces can arise.
