Silo varnishes

Water-dilutable, paintable polymer-based silo varnish (with mould protection additives) for inside and outside usage. It is used as a coating for feed silos, stables and storage buildings. The silo coating can be used on bitumen, concrete, masonry and eternit. It can be used on metal after applying corrosion protection painting.

Silo-quick bitumen hardener is a chemically curing, solvent-based reactive component that activates bitumen coatings such as bitumen silo varnishes. This accelerates the drying and curing time, increases the stability of the bitumen varnish up to about 3 times and improves acid protection. It prevents sticking of the silage as well. The bitumen hardener should be intensively mixed with bitumen varnish in a volume ratio of 3 to 1 bitumen varnish to bitumen hardener.

Due to using special additives the elasticity and adhesion are improved. Because of the heavy stress in the area of the silo floor, we have improved the durability to prevent premature abrasion of the paint.

Silo-quick wall varnish is a ready-to-use, solvent-based, bituminous protective coating for agricultural silos and reservoirs; especially produced for the protection of open bunker silos for green feed, corn, fertilizers and the like. This bitumen varnish can be painted on, rolled on and sprayed on and is resistant to diluted alkalis and acids. For new silos, a silo bitumen primer is to be applied beforehand, followed by 3 coats of bitumen silo varnish. For biogas plant silos, it is recommended to apply a primer and then three coats of Silo-quick bitumen varnish mixed with bitumen hardener. 200 - 300 ml/m², depending on the surface.

Silo-quick bitumen primer is a special bitumen-based primer for green feed containers and Silos to improve the adhesion and depth anchorage of our Silo-quick bitumen varnishes.
