Baler twines are twines particularly made for balers to keep round and square bales in form. The baler twines are highly UV stable as well as frost- and cold-resistant and give the bales stability for transport and storage.

Baler twine is needed by farmers and contractors to process grass, hay or straw crop into round and square bales.
What is baler twine made of?
Baler twine consists of several individual polypropylene fibers twisted into a yarn. These fibers are fibrillated, which means that they have a net structure, making the yarn more supple and flexible as well as sturdier and tear-proof.

What are the different types of baler twine?
What does the type designation of the twines mean?
The designation describes the run length per kilogram. This means that a type 400 twine has a running length of 400 m per kilogram, while a twine with type 110 has a running length of 110 m per kilogram. Thus, a baler twine with a higher type designation is thinner than one with a lower designation.
